If you’re doing this, you’re not growing muscle

If your goal is muscle size and you’re doing  more than 20, it’s too light.

The chances of getting anymore stimulus after 20 reps is likely significantly reduced.

Meaning all you’re doing now is getting tired.

Tiredness DOES NOT GROW MUSCLE.

PRO TIP:

Consider using a double progression.

Meaning, if you can do more than 20, it’s too light and you can/should add 5-10lbs.

If you can do less than 8 reps, it’s too heavy and you can/should remove 5-10lbs.

Work within a 8-20 rep range with a given weight, aim for the top of that range, and once you can do 20 reps with that weight…add 5lbs.

Rinse and repeat.

Cheers!

Jay

PS.

Mot guys know enough to transform their health, fitness, and physique on their own. But they don’t because they don’t have the systems to support, manage, and progress them through the stages for long enough to see personally significant resutls.

We work exclusively with busy guys who want a guaranteed system to follow, and the support and accountability of an expert coach to help them transform their health, fitness, and physique so that they can live the life they want in a body they’re proud of and confident in.

We have 2 open spots for this month, if you’re ready to get started click the button below and complete the 3 minute application to see if we’re a good fit.
